It provides quick batch-entry of payments from Insurance providers and patients, and also facilitates quick payment and adjustment entries on patient ledgers. Specifically for long-term-care providers,
H-Sys was designed to make the switch from TAD-based paper billing to new HIPAA-mandated UB92/UB04-based paper billing or 837i electronic billing as easy as possible. Claim information is entered on a standard “TAD”-looking form which most LTC providers have been using for years and are well acquainted with, and H-Sys converts the information to the new codes and formats required by HIPAA.
